Participating in the Big Draw was something i had not experienced before. It was useful to have a day where creativity can run free. I produced a variety of outcomes using abnormal criteria such as using a stick to draw. I liked that 20 minutes were given as I had a small portion of time to think about what I wanted to create instead of rushing to finish an outcome.
My personal favourite task was brief 05, where we were instructed to make a very long device to attach our markers and draw with it. the long stick made it hard to keep control over so the aim was to gain this control and make the line have as little movement as possible. I liked my outcome and considered it quite successful, however since I had time left over I decided to make more lines over the top on the simple drawing. This was not the best idea as the outlines became a lot darker and lost some of the shape. Next time when creating a line drawing I must keep in mind that simplicity is key.
