Photoshoot

SONY DSCI decided to have my photoshoot outside amongst nature. This was because my garment’s monochrome colour scheme is khaki, inspired by garments worn by working women and soldiers during WWI which were meant to camouflage with the battlefields. I had around 4 different outside locations. One in between rows of bushes, another in front of a farm gate, one next to a barn and the last in a field with overgrown grass.

My favourite pictures are under an orange lamp. The pictures are blurry however it portrays a gloomy and mysterious feel reflective of the war. If i was to do this photoshoot again I would find a better camera to take pictures with in the dark that would capture the same feel but with a clear image of the model and garment. In front of the barn I also decided to remove the bottom panel of the jacket that was attached with the zip to show that even though a compartment was removed it still functioned as a garment.
